"We were not born to live an ordinary life."
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!

Today we are officially launching our site to the world. This is something we have had planned for five years now. We constantly kept telling ourselves, we need to create a blog to share our daily experiences and inspirations with others. However, we failed to do the hardest thing most people struggle with everyday: starting. When the new year began, we told ourselves we would not put it off again. The blog was stamped to our vision boards in January and now is in full bloom. What was once a thought is now in fruition.

We know we have a unique perspective to offer to the universe. We always said, "We were not born to live an ordinary life!" Yes, no matter where you go there will always be tons of models, hair stylists, boutique owners, bloggers, reporters, fitness gurus, etc., but there is only one of YOU! There may be another set of twin girls around the world named Erica and Erin, but we're pretty sure they aren't anything like us!

What makes this blog different from others?
We are just different. Although we may look alike, we have completely different personalities, styles, preferences, etc. Not only will we upload blog posts weekly, we will also upload videos on our Youtube channel, "Twins in the City."  This will give you more insight to who we TRULY are! From moments of laughter to the five-minute arguments we have and immediately get over, we're sharing it all!

We were born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are two bubbly, hard-working ladies who want to create names for ourselves while learning from the best. Currently, we live in New York City, the "C o n c r e t e J u n g l e." At 24 years young, we have one dream: to pursue what makes us happy. We love to work with people, and we have found a deep love for public relations and event planning.

We could have EASILY stayed in New Orleans to jump-start our careers, but we always wanted to explore and pursue endeavors in a larger city. Not to say anything is wrong with working in New Orleans. We LOVE New Orleans and recognize that our home town is amazing :) It'll forever be in our veins: the urge for crawfish, snow balls and king cake all at the same time ALL year around! However, we just knew our purpose superseded what New Orleans has to offer. God can use you in any situation or location, and we are a living example.

We will take you on our journey as we rise to our career top. You get a little bit of Cajun-filled fun with a "Big Apple" twist!

What does 'Ereplika' mean?
Back in 2010, when we first thought of starting a blog, we began brainstorming different names. We landed on "Replica," but wanted to tweak it a little. We shared the names with one of our super creative friends, Greg Fortenberry, and he suggested that we change the letter "c" to a "k" and add the letter "e" in front because both of our names begin with that letter. We instantly loved it.

How do you pronounce it?
Uh-rép-li-kuh

I am so blessed to have shared the experience of attending college with y'all and seeing y'all grow into two amazing young women! Embracing your differences and sharing them with the world is the most unique thing! I always refer to y'all as MY twins lol. Always will, even when you become famous for the hard work that you do! So proud!
